Jery vs Lixor

Both Jery and Lixor let you count stock by voice and ask questions about your bar. Jery also connects those workflows to house-batch costing, prep planning and menus, and can draft changes for you to approve.

Jery might be a better fit if

  • Your cocktails use house batches, and you need their costs to carry through to every drink.
  • You want menus, spec books and prep lists built from the same recipes.
  • You want forecasted sales to guide prep, with a range rather than a single prediction.
  • You want Jery to draft changes for you to review and approve.

  • Bring your specsA PDF, a spreadsheet or a photo of the recipe book becomes drafts you review, house batches included.
  • Count by voice, just as you do nowWalk the shelves and talk. Jery asks when a name could refer to more than one bottle, and you confirm the count with a tap.

Questions

More in the FAQ.

Does Jery count by voice like Lixor?

Yes. Talk through your stock count as you walk the shelves. Jery keeps track of each item, asks when a bottle name is unclear and learns from your corrections. When you're finished, you confirm the count with a tap.

How is Ask Jery different from Lix?

Both answer questions using your bar's data. Ask Jery can also draft changes, like updating a drink price, fixing a spec or preparing an import. You review and approve those changes before anything is saved.

Does Jery read invoices from a photo?

Yes, from a photo, a PDF, an upload or the bar's own forwarding address. Every line is read and its math checked before you approve the prices.

Which POS does Jery connect to?

Toast, Square, Clover and Oracle Simphony connect directly and sync sales every night. For other systems, including Givex and Union, you can upload a sales export.

Can I count by scanning barcodes too?

Yes. Scan a bottle to count it, or scan a new one to add it, in the same count as voice and tap.
